Hello - I decided to create a blog and a facebook page, to help all my friends who are busy people like me to find deals they can do without alot of effort.  I started couponing seriously May, 2011, and I cannot believe how many things you can get for your family for FREE or close to free.  Since I started using coupons, I have reduced our overall grocery bill by 60-70%!  And it's amazingly easy!  I am a busy working mother of 4, who are all over the age of 16, and who all eat ALOT OF FOOD.  If you've ever raised teenage boys, you know from experience how much they go through, and I have 3 of them. 

My couponing has went through many phases of organization through the year, but I find that sitting down, and getting organized for my shopping trips saves me the most time.  I have built a nice stockpile over the year, and now I can shop for the really good deals, throw in some bread, milk, eggs and meat and I'm good.  Alot of times I can find a great money making deal, to help me get these items for really cheap or free too.  Also using store special coupons $5 off $30, or $2 off items that my local store publishes weekly help save so much more too.

Many of my friends keep asking me "how do you find those deals".  I do spend some time researching weekly for my shopping trips, and I stumble across deals on websites, looking at flyers, and reading the store flyers.  I'll post my greatest finds for you to help you save the most money.  I want to focus on the items you can get free or nearly free so that you can cash in on the deals more quickly.

My intent is to show you that busy people can coupon and save money.  To be really successful, you should plan on spending 2-4 hours a week on your shopping planning and trips.  Once you see how you can save hundreds of dollars on your shopping trip, you will see that spending that time organizing, clipping and shopping is worth it!  I figure I save over $30 an hour by using the coupons, and that is really like making that money.  I consider that a nice part-time job, or hobby that actually pays to enjoy it. 

I could be a shop-aholic and spend lots of money at the stores.  I find it more fun to do lots of shopping and hardly spend any money.
